Posted by Millionaire on February 3rd, 2010 My dental implants look so real, you would never be able to tell that these are not my real teeth if I did not tell you first. I was involved in a very bad car accident where my mouth was hit by a piece of flying metal from the other vehicle. I lost all but ten of my own teeth and the great dentists that worked on me gave me several options to replace them.
I chose the number one choice among the dentists and went with the dental implants to have a more natural look. I could have gone with dentures but since I was already in the hospital, I figured that one more evasive surgery would not matter and I was going to be fed by a tube for the remainder of my stay so I wanted the dental implants done at the same time they put me under to fix my broken leg.
It has been two years since my accident and I have hard time thinking about everything that I have been through since then. I am very lucky to be alive and I have a great set of teeth to show off since I am. I am thankful that I had great doctors, nurses and dentists to help me get through it.
Posted by Millionaire on February 2nd, 2010 I knew that the toddler pajamas might be just a bit too big for my son but he would eventually grow into them. I just wanted to make sure that he had room to move in them. The footed pajamas that he had right now were starting to be too tight and I noticed his feet were really stuffed in there tonight.
I had found the new toddler pajamas at the big store that is going out of business for a great price so the fact that I was not sure if my son would fit them or not, was not a worry when only spending two dollars apiece. If they did not fit, I would only be out six dollars and I might have been able to sell them to the children’s resell shop up at the mall anyway.
I washed and dried the new toddler pajamas and then put them in my son’s bottom drawer of his dresser. He would probably be in them before winter was even over, and if not he would defiantly fit them next year at this time. I would just have to remember that I had packed the footed pajamas away and not go and buy anymore in the fall.
Posted by Millionaire on January 27th, 2010 The sell wedding ring that I had typed into the auction site beginning page did still not seem real. I had put this off long enough and could not wait any longer. Since my lovely ex husband filed for divorce and it had finalized last month, I have been having a hard time paying the mortgage, the car payment and all the other things that come with bringing up four kids. I knew I had to do the sell wedding ring thing as soon as possible so I thought that the auction site might be the quickest way.
I told my friend Jill all about it and she said that she had to sell diamond jewelry one time to make her care payment. She thinks that there is no shame in it and if you are doing what you can to make things work then that just shows strength. I asked her when she did sell diamond jewelry and if I knew her then. She told me that it was only about a year ago and we did know each other then. I wondered why she would not have just asked me for the money but she said that it was just easier to handle it the way she did and not owe anyone, but just be out a little few sparkly pieces.
Posted by Millionaire on January 19th, 2010 For three years now, all of my neighbors have been saying that we need to all do something together. I think that I may have found the perfect thing. I saw some literature on a Scottsdale coed soccer league and know that we would all make a great team. We are all very athletic and we could practice in each other’s backyards. The only thing that would hold us back is needing a sitter for most of the games.
I took a copy of the Scottsdale soccer league rules and passed it out to everyone on my block to see if there was any interest. I got enough of them to agree to be on a team with me, and we all signed up for the Scottsdale coed soccer league online. We chose the days and times to practice and got to work.
When we got our Scottsdale soccer league game schedule, it all worked out that we would be able to have sitters for all the games. Our team was not the greatest, but we enjoyed practicing, exercising and playing in the games together. In the end, we placed third overall in the end of season Scottsdale soccer league tournament. We are all looking forward to playing next year.
Posted by Millionaire on January 12th, 2010 I started out just trying to learn all about the different kinds of life insurance that there were and ended up with a policy for term life insurance. I had been looking over the different types online and just happened to find a site that could get you a few different quotes from different companies in a matter of minutes. I figured that it was kind of like shopping for car insurance and there was no obligation with just getting some quotes. I got two for no medical exam life insurance and four for term life insurance. I knew that I was really looking for term life insurance so I just deleted the other ones. I looked over the specifics of the other four and decided on the one that provided the most coverage for the least amount of money. I had actually even heard of this particular insurance company also, and that made me feel better about the whole thing.
When I informed my wife that I had just started looking for the different types of life insurance, but ended up actually getting a policy, she was very happy. She wanted to go ahead and get a similar policy for herself, just in case something would happen to the both of us, she wanted the kids to be well taken care of.
Posted by Millionaire on December 31st, 2009 I went to an auction last month with my dad because he did not want to go alone in case he bought any big items that he needed to lift into his car. I never expected to buy anything since it was an estate sale and usually there are just antiques and junk at those. I got the program for the day as soon as we got there and started to look it over while my dad went and signed up for a bid number.
I got to the fourth page of the schedule and stopped reading; there were a lot of used servers that they were going to be auctioning off. The majority of the people that were at this auction were quite old and I knew that they would not want anything to do with the used poweredge servers that were being sold today.
I called up my business partner and told him to bring me over a blank check to use when I won the used servers. He got very excited about the lot and told me that he would be there within a few hours, since the lot was not scheduled to go before noon.
When the used servers lot came up, the auctioneer started the bidding at one thousand dollars and I raised my number. Only four other people tried to bid against me and I got all twenty of the used poweredge servers for less than three thousand dollars and I knew that after refurbishing them, I would make about ten times that amount on them.
Posted by Millionaire on December 30th, 2009 The sale that was being advertised on the website seemed to be too good. I could not believe that they would actually sell refurbished used hp servers at that low of a price. I was hoping that I could convince my boss to buy some used proliant servers before they changed it though. I had been pricing them for the past few months and this price would put these about fifty percent lower than any I had seen.
I had a meeting scheduled for later in the day with my boss to go over the numbers and see if I could get him to sign off on purchasing the used proliant servers for our office that would make it twice as efficient as it currently was. He knew that we should have new ones, but just kept having me call in the tech department to put a band aid on it every other week.
In the meantime, our sales are down and the days that the servers have issues do not help. After he saw the price of the used hp servers compared to all the other companies out there, he told me to order them and not tell anyone about the purchase.
Posted by Millionaire on December 28th, 2009 I need to find a new janitorial supplies company before the boss gets back. I fired the old ones last week when they brought the cleaning products that I had ordered only four hours before, late and expected me to pay their rush deliver charge. The deal was that they would get to the office by five and they actually came at about six thirty. They could not understand why I did not want to pay them the extra forty dollars on top of the normal delivery charges.
I have contacted some other local shops and they all have the same policies and prices as the janitorial supplies company that I just got rid of. My sister told me that I should check out some cleaning products companies online and see if they can help me. I had never thought of doing that but it made sense. I needed to be able to find one that was somewhat close so that if I needed something quickly, that I could have it rush ordered and they would have it to me overnight.
I have gone ahead and placed two separate orders with two different companies to see which one delivers the quickest. They both had great prices, in fact their prices were much lower than the ones from the local shop and the shipping charges are low too.
