I lost my heart in Winnipeg! Though it sounds bizarre but exactly that happened to me. When I visited the city first time last summer, I was not sure that my tour would be enjoyable. As I am from a hot country and I was just looking for some cooler destination, I just happened to land in this city of Manitoba, Canada.   

Once I reached there I checked-in at the Quality Inn and Suites hotel as I have already booked a room at this Choice group of hotels located on Pembina Highway. I was really impressed by the quality of rooms, the way they are designed, their cleanliness etc. As I prepared for dinner, it was the Italian food served at Sorrentos that made my evening really enjoyable.

Next morning I was served even wonderful breakfast, that was complimentary. After breakfast I went to visit The Forks- the most happening spot in the city of Winnipeg. It was situated at the confluence of two rivers namely Red and Assiniboine. Besides these attractions; there are many rivers, hundreds of lakes, amusement parks, universities, and historical structures etc. that influenced me in such a way that I extended my already long vacations.  

But I was a traveler, eventually I had to leave the city and I left. But even after a year whenever I remember those days in Winnipeg, I just feel like it was my first crush and I still want my first love.  Winnipeg just took my heart!
