My best friend is no doubt a technology-dependent person. He is not used to living without the aid of his gadgets. But of course we do not blame him for this. Firstly, he can totally afford to have that kind of lifestyle, and secondly, he has been a very kind and good friend to all of us. I had a meeting scheduled for later in the day with my boss to go over the numbers and see if I could get him to sign off on purchasing the used proliant servers for our office that would make it twice as efficient as it currently was. He knew that we should have new ones, but just kept having me call in the tech department to put a band aid on it every other week.
