One Million Dollars for Preservation

I see so many funny shirts in the stores these days; I wonder who comes up with all of the designs. I remember when I was a kid and we would go to the little department store that was down the road and they would make us t shirts with their hot iron press. You could pick out of their designs or they would allow you to use their letters to come up with something unique.

I remember the day that my best friend and I thought we could get t shirts made with some bad words on it. The lady in charge of the hot iron press told us that she could not make offensive t shirts. Since we were only ten years old, we had no idea what offensive t shirts even meant but it did not sound good.

I was so afraid that my mother was going to find out what we had tried to do, but she never said anything about it. My friend and I went back to coming up with funny shirts that I guess were not considered offensive because they always made them for us after the one incident.

My best friend and I always laugh about the day that the lady told us that we could not make offensive t shirts. When we were eighteen and away from college, we made those t shirts with magic marker and wore them proudly.

I sold all my funny t shirts in our yard sale last week. Some of the funny t shirts I had had since I was in college. That was about fifteen years ago. I had to be careful about the ones that I put out because I had several adult t shirts that I would not want just anyone to see. I did however notice a really young guy and he was wearing an offensive t shirt at my yard sale.

I pulled the young guy over and told him that I had some really nice adult t shirts that he might like. I got out the box and let him look them over. He ended up taking all of them and I made a quick thirty bucks on the deal. By the end of the day, I had sold all but one of my funny t shirts and had gotten rid of most of the junk that was in the garage. I think that my total was thirty dollars for the adult t shirts, fifty dollars and the funny t shirts and about three hundred on everything else that I sold that day. I hope that my yard sale next year does double that amount.

I need a new custom website development company on my way to work today. I passed right by their new office. I was excited to see that they looked very professional. I wrote down their website address so that I could check out their work when I got time. I was thinking of hiring a new website design company after my current company took too long to finish the changes they were hired to do.

Since they were the only website design company in town, I had no choice but to use them then. Now, that they are going to have some competition from the new custom website development, they better start giving better customer service. They might even be happy that there is a new company in town, if the reason they cannot finish their work on time, is due to the fact that they have too many clients and not enough employees.

I will have to wait and see what other people say about the new company before I switch. If my current company gets better, then I will know that maybe they do not have as many clients and therefore can give better service to the ones that they do have.
